GHANA FIRST LADY, REBECCA AKUFO-ADO, NIGERIA’s HIGH COMMISSIONER IN GHANA, OTHERS FOR LEADTIMES SUMMIT IN GHANA

 

The wife of the president of Republic’of GHANA and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, Nigeria’s High Commissioner in Ghana, Amb.Michael Olufemi Abikoye, and the wives of the executive governors of Plateau,Sokoto and Kebbi State are among the dignitaries expected at this year’s LEADTIMES AFRICA Regional Summit on Good governance in Leadership coming up later in the year in Accra, Ghana.While wife of Ghanaian president will serve as Mother of the day at the occasion, Mrs Regina LALONG of Plateau state, Hajiya MAIRO Aminu Tambuwal of SOKOTO State and Hajiya Aisha Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State, Nigeria are expected to serve as guests of honour at this annual regional conference in Accra come December. Nigerian High Commissioner in Ghana is expected to serve as Chief Special guest of honor while Ghanaian’s Minister of Trade and Industry Hon. Alan Kyerematen will serve as Chief guest lecturer at the at the summit as Brigadier General Aniedi Edet of National Defense College, Nigeria will serve as another guest speaker at the summit.
In a release jointly signed by Professor Buba, S.Mshelia, Advisory Board Chairman of Leadtimes Africa and Professor Prince Eze Nwauba, Director of Institute of Art Management and Professional Studies conveners of this summit stressed ” the conference with the theme: Promoting Business, Investments and Security in Africa through Good governance -a case study of Ghana would be used as platform to honour Africans across GHANA and Nigeria who have excelled in their professional career and business across the regional borders and those who promote good governance in African Leadership would be recognized with honours at the occasion,” the duo opined. Listed for honour during the ceremony are the executive Chairman of Agege LGA of LAGOS state, Nigeria Alhaji Ganiyu Kola Egunjobi and LAGOS state Commissioner for Home Affairs, Pharm.Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf for their outstanding leadership disposition and service to the good people of Lagos State.Others are Compt. YUSUF Abba-Kasim, Area Comptroller of Nigeria Customs Service in-charged of Niger, Kwara and Kogi Command,Alhaji Sani Dawaki Gabasawa, Chairman of KANO State Pension Trust Fund and two law makers from Jigawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Abdulrahaman Alkasim and Hon. Usman Haladu Isa Kanya for their transparent leadership qualities and service to humanity..Other great personalities to be recognized with honours from Nigeria include the wife of KANO State Governor Hajiya Hafsat Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Speaker of Sokoto State House of Assembly, Alhaji Mohammed Achida, two members of Sokoto State House of Assembly Alhaji Malabi Ahmed and Alhaji Aminu Almustapha,Rt. Hon. Binta Mamman Gurara, Member of Niger State House of Assembly, Bauchi State commissioner for Women Affairs, Rukayya Ibrahim Kewa, Nuhu Gidado, Bauchi State commissioner for works and Transport and Alhaji Abdulraham Maigoro, the executive chairman of Keffi Local government, Nasarawa state.Also in the award list is the Deputy Speaker and Majority Leader of Yobe. State House of Assembly Alhaji Mohammed Isa Bello and Alhaji Bukar Mustapha.Also included for honour are the wives of the Plateau state commissioner for Physical Planning Hon. Dr Dayyabu YUSUF Garga.
.Former Deputy governor of Plateau state,Chief Jethro Akun including the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo, Chairman of Furniture Makers Association of Nigeria, Sokoto State Chapter, ALHAJI TAMBARI Ahmad, AIG Iliyasu Ahmed in-charged of Zone 2 Command(Lagos/Ogun),Political Adviser to KANO state governor, Hon. Mustapha Buhari and the chairman of the All Progressive Congress, KANO State, Hon. Abdullahi Abbas are nominees for various awards during the event in Accra.The summit which will attract participants from all walks of life including captains of industry, technocrats, security agencies, business men and women, religious leaders and all stakeholders in leadership cycle is expected to last for just a day.
