The APC National Youth Caucus, in a press release  issued to newsmen on Wednesday said,  “we are happily and respectfully appreciates President Muhammadu Buhari for his fatherly concerns for the Nigerian youths by approving the employment of 1000 youths from each of the 774 LGA across the nation”.

“This gesture will go a long way in curtailing the unemployment scourge ravaging the country today. The 774,000 job opportunity is a great milestone to our great party and the administration”.

APC National Youth Caucus further appreciates the leadership of the National Assembly under the leadership of the Senate President,  Sen. Ahmed Lawal for the timely intervention on the rancour between the state minister of labour and productivity and the joint national assembly committee of labour.

“We sincerely thank the president of the senate by standing by the constitutional provision and the act establishing the National Directorate of Employment ( NDE) as the body saddle with the responsibility of implementing all programs in the directorate”.

“The NDE under the leadership of Dr Nasir Ladan had been performing optimally considering the numerous programs he has been initiating and implementing which has affected the lives of so many Nigerian youth and women in the grass root”.
“The DG’s commitment and vision towards actualizing the objectives of the Commission are commendable, this has made him stand out. He is with no doubt capable of handling the directives of Mr. President on the  774,000 interventions programs and recruitment process”.

The caucus also applauds the Minister of Labour and Productivity, HE, Sen. Chris Ngigi for his timely interventions with the national assembly and subsequent apologies on behalf of his State Minister.
