Uba Sani, as a first term Senator in 2019, he was made the chairman of the Senate Committee on Banking and Finance

He is brilliant, smart, intelligent, compassionate and futuristic.
He will remains the best senator in  political history of Kaduna State.

He was ever willing to promote and support any Executive bills on the floor of the Senate.

He is passionate about people empowerment and in the past had cause to sponsor bills and motions aimed at uplifting the women and youth in the society.

A very sincere and mature family man, whose reasoning is not coloured by indiscrete political affiliation, Uba Sani   name and work will remain indelible on the marble of the federal legislature.

Senator Uba Sani is the first senator  with the highest number of sponsored bills.
Uba Sani is a champion for democracy, a strong voice for the people of Kaduna Central senatorial district, which he represents and an undeniable legislative maestro as he is often referred to.
His contributions to issues of national importance and his modest personality make him worth emulation.

He created a brand new image for  Kaduna Central senatorial district.
He has confounded his critics and dazed his admirers.

An icon of honour for women in search of a legislative voice on violence against women in Nigeria.

The lawmaker and former civil rights activist was also a leading light among senators who co-sponsored many motions in the red Chamber.

He confounded his political rivals and dazed the people of the Senatorial zone.

The skill acquisition training programmes of his Foundation UBA SANI FOUNDATION have been sustained and expanded, whereby the less-privileged have been empowered

Senator Uba Sani will make even more democratic ‘sparks’ at the Senate chamber, going by his blueprint for legislative action and the impact he has made so far.

Senator Uba Sani in addressing the urgent needs of his constituents has in  his first quarter as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District sponsored the following bills and motions:

BILLS

(i) Federal College of Education Giwa, Kaduna State (est. etc.) Bill, 2019, was sponsored in the realization of the fact that the crisis in the education sector cannot be effectively tackled if priority attention is not given to the production of professional and quality teachers.  The Bill has scaled through 1st and 2nd Reading at the Senate.

(ii) Federal Medical Centre, Rigasa, Kaduna State (est. etc.) Bill, 2019, was sponsored in response to the cries of constituents, especially those in the densely populated areas who daily watch helplessly as women and children die due to lack of well-equipped healthcare centers. The Bill has scaled through 1st and 2nd Reading.

(iii) Care and Protection of Child Parents Bill, 2019, was sponsored to provide succor to child parents and create a platform where they can be reintegrated into society after childbirth and still fulfill their dreams. The Bill has passed 1st Reading at the Senate.

(iv) Federal College of Forestry Technology and Research, Birnin-Gwari, Kaduna State (est. etc.) Bill, 2019; and

(v) The University of Technology ( etc.) Bill, 2019 seeking to convert Kaduna State Polytechnic into a University, was primarily sponsored in a bid to reposition the institution so it can contribute effectively to the production of skilled manpower needed for Nigeria’s industrialization. The Bill has also passed 1st reading at the Senate.
