Senator Wamakko made so many tremendous achievements in different capacity that he served Sokoto state and the Nigeria’s community at large.

Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko Chairman Commitee On Defence and Vice Chairman on Anti-corruption honoured with an award of excellence bestowed on him by the West Africa Writers Association as on of the most outstanding senators in nigeria that contributed to national development.

In view of what the organisers of the award described as the enviable massive contribution in the Nigerian Senate, sokoto north senatorial district, stability and nation building and development.

The award was conferred on Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko on Friday, in Abuja.

In his speech, the acting president of the West Africa Political Writers Association, Comrade Musa Mohammed said, the Senator in the recent years, made so many tremendous achievements in different capacity that he served Sokoto state and the Nigeria’s community at large.

He said the advisory board of the awards was unanimous in selecting Senator Wamakko for the award because of his sterling performance in the past and present years.

“Selecting Senator Wamakko for the award was the least tasking exercise by the Advisory Board of the Awards, as his track records of performance towers above his peers”.

He stated further that Senator Aliyu Wamakko has in the recent years contributed immensely to the development of sokoto state state and Nigeria.

In his reaction to the award,  Senator Wamakko expressed his gratitude to the organizers of the awards. 

He said, “Iam quite humble by the award, considering the category which is one of the best senators in Nigeria awards.
This means that the stories we have been telling all these while are stories that are inspiring other people as well as giving a direction of how we operate politically has been for the last couple of years. I am really grateful for these awards and we at Oracle Experience highly appreciate them.

He added that the awards would further spur his political carrier drive and enthusiasm to do more in ensuring that it remains above at all times in the discharge of his duty as the senator representing his constituency.
