Zamfara Schoolgirls Abduction: No Matter What Happens, Will Not Allow This To Continue – Senator Anka

Kidnapping is now a fear expressed to our children during an emergency exercise at a school in Nigeria. According to Senator representing Zamfara West senatorial district, Senator Lawal Hassan Anka, , thousands of children have been kidnapped by armed groups in the country.

   
Lamenting that attacks on boarding schools in northern Nigeria has become a nuisance and challenging our democracy.

Senator Lawal Hassan Anka condemned the latest kidnapping as “inhumane and totally unacceptable”.

The Senator condemned the abduction of the girls and called for their safe release.

“I strongly condemn the cowardly bandits’ attack on innocent school girls at Jangebe.
My prayers are with the families of the students, the school authorities and the Zamfara State government ,” he said.

In an aggressive reaction against banditry in Zamfara State, Senator Lawal Anka has lashed out, saying that there are saboteurs that sabotaging the government’s efforts in the state.

Senator Anka maintained that there are some group of people that are sabotaging the efforts of the Zamfara State government under the leadership of Mohammed Bello Matawalle.

“They are hiding behind façade,” he maintained adding that PDP lead administration in Zamfara State would not allow the issue of banditry under any circumstances.

“Let me make this clear; no matter what happens, will not allow this to continue,” he added.
