Some groups and individuals have intensified calls on a Ibrahim Inuwa Waya  Managing Director NNPC Shipping, to contest the governorship seat on the platform of All Progressives Congress (APC).

One of the groups, TRUST INUWA  WAYA 2023 in a Press conference which took place in Kano on Sunday, express their support for Inuwa Waya so that he could heed the calls by groups and individuals to contest the governor seat in kano state.

 
Speaking on with newsmen at venue of the press conference, the leader of the group, Comrade Musa Mohammed said they organized the press conference  in other to gain more support for Waya to contest the‎ seat because they were hopeful that he would deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.

According to him, members of the group have embarked on a massive campaign to canvass support for Inuwa Waya for governor in all nooks and crannies  of the 44 local government areas of Kano State.

In his address, Alhaji Hussani Galadima popularly known as Hussaini Beirut who is also an APC stalwart in Nasarawa local government, commended the group for its support to Inuwa Waya  and the call on him to serve his people.

Hussaini Beirut assured them that members of the party would work towards convincing Inuwa to contest the governor’s seat.
