Ahead of the 2023 General Elections, The Race to Succeed Governor Nasiru Ahmed Elrufai have begun in earnest as Governorship Hopefuls both from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have started making moves to achieve their political goals.

Although, there aspirants from both political parties have decleared their intrest to Succeed Elrufai whose tenure expires on the 29th of May, 2023.

But my findings revealed that Rt. Hon. Isah Ashiru Kudan may Likely Succeeded the Outgoing Governor due to  his qualities.

Ashiru Kudan, is a Native of  Kudan Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

He attended LEA primary school, kudan from 1968-1974. Then attended Secondary school from 1975-1980 at Kufena college wusasa, Zaria. He proceeded to earn his National Diploma in Business Administration from 1982-1985 at the katsina polytechnic. From 1987-1989, he attended Kaduna state polytechnic and completed his HND. In 1990, he served the National Youth Service Corps in Borno State.(BO/KD/89/42117). In 1999, he acquired a post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management. He earned a master’s degree in Public policy and Administration from the year 2000-2001 at Bayero university Kano (BUK).

He worked at the Ministry of Finance for two years 1980-1982. From 1985-1992, He worked with Kaduna State Board of Internal Revenue and proceeded to the Kaduna State Ministry of Commerce, industry and tourism from 1992-1997.
In 1996, he contested for Chairmanship under the platform of zero party and lost. He recontested in 1997 under the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and lost again.
In 1998, he contested for membership KSHA under the platform of DPN and Lost.
From 1999-2003 he was elected member KSHA representing Kudan constituency of Kaduna state under the platform of PDP and from 2003-2007, he was reelected for second term.
In 2007-2011 he was elected member representing Makarfi/Kudan federal constituency under PDP.
In 2011- 2015 he was reelected for second term.

Majority of the Kaduna Populace Suggests That Rt. Hon. Isah Ashiru  Kudan Has All The Qualities To Contest The Next Governorship In Kaduna State 2023.

Why majority of the Kaduna state citizens prepared Ashiru Kudan to succeeded governor Elrufai, it’s because he is a man with too many potentials.

The former lawmaker is highly committed in discharging his responsibilities.

Also,  he is a grassroot politician, who hold many position, earned him the confidence which the Kaduna populace will vote for him.

Ashiru Kudan dynamic style of leadership has been commended by the cross section of the people, described him as competent to serve under what ever capacity.

Kudan is not only exceptional, but trustworthy, that’s why the PDP and the people of Kaduna state always have confidence on him.

Many admirers suggests that the the former lawmaker has all the qualities to contest the next governorship in kaduna state 2023.
