Customs Area Controller  Kano/Jigawa Command Comptroller SP Umar has been described as luminary of success.

It was a clear testimony that he introduced new concept that brings about radical change in customs service.

He has helped in significant role in customs service in the past and present.

His contributions and achievements are Visible and laudable.

Compt. Umar as a renowned custom officer has been up loaded for his quick transformation in all where he served.

SP Umar is a Professional custom officer who is always respond to complex challenges and to deliver public value.

He is a Professional custom officer (public servants) with
future-oriented and evidence-based.

He is  a custom Officer with strategic, innovative, qualified, impartial, values-driven and ethical.

Is a man that composed of all qualities and professionalism.

When he was deployed as Customs Area Controller  Kano/Jigawa command    
“assumed duty on 1st December 2020”

He vowed that his command will continue to facilitate trade, deal decisively with economic saboteurs (smugglers), work for the security and wellbeing of the people of Nigeria.

The NCS Kano/jigawa command under Comptroller SP Umar watch, the Command achieved and generated revenue.
More than N21 billion revenue this year between January to date, the amount surpassed its projected revenue target of N20 billion.

The amount was higher than the N13.978 billion recorded in 2019, representing 84 per cent increase.

Therefore, Comptroller SP UMAR is a luminary of success.
