The Commandant General of Kano State Hisbah Board SHEIKH HARUN MUHAMMAD SANI IBN SINA bags Arewa Media Practitioners award for his performance in this year-2020/2021 in community services, societal and human development.

In a special programme held at Hisbah Kano, on Wednesday, the national president of the Arewa Media Practitioners Comrade Musa Mohammed presented the award to Sheikh Dr. Harun Muhammad Sani Ibn Sina who is the the commandant General of the board.

The national president of the Arewa Media said, the award bestowed on the Ibn Sina, is as a result of his stewardship.

“It’s the opinion of the award selection committee which says Sheikh Harun Ibn Sina hard working and selfless services over the years justified the prestigious award on him” he added.

The Commandant General of the board in his response, expressed appreciation to the Arewa Media Practitioners, saying he considered the award a challenge to do more.

He said in 2003, the Kano State Hisbah board was established by the state government with the institutionalization of formerly local and privately maintained security units.  To avoid conflict with the national security agencies, etc.
